Alman FDP Kültür ve Medya Komisyonu Başkanı Otto; "Eurovision önemsiz ve gereksiz bir yarışma.

Alman Hür Demokrat Partili (FDP) federal meclis Kültür ve Medya Komisyonu Başkanı Hans-Joachim Otto, Eurovision Şarkı Yarışması'nı gereksiz bulduğunu söyledi.

Otto, "B.Z" gazetesine yaptığı açıklamada, önemsiz ve gereksiz olduğunu belirttiği bu etkinlik için gelecekte kamu paralarının harcanmaması gerektiğini savundu.

Yarışmanın seviyesinin çok düşük olduğunu ifade eden Otto, "bu etkinliği özel takviminden sildiğini" kaydetti.

"Kukla tiyatrosuna son verin" başlıklı haberde, Almanya'da vergi ödeyenlerin bu yarışmayı milyonlarca avro ile finanse ettikleri belirtildi.

Moskova'da bu yıl düzenlenen yarışmada Almanya, "Miss Kiss Kiss Bang" adlı şarkıyla 25 ülke arasında 20. olmuştu.

Şarkıcı Oskar Loya'ya sahnede eşlik eden striptizci Dita von Teese'nin dekolte kıyafetleri Almanya'da tartışma konusu olurken, sadece sahnede bulunduğu süredeki maliyetinin bile 60 bin euro olduğu kaydedildi. [cnnturk]
